Most of the facilities in the Jamison Valley exist on the tourist accessible edges.
Water:
None of the water in the creeks or pools is safe to drink. If needing water it can be made drinkable by boiling for 5min or by using water purification tablets. There is water available at all the picnic facilities (except Leurs Forest).
Cooking:
BBQs are provided at some of the picinc areas. It is best to avoid wood fires in the valley. For a good proportion of the year only gas and fuel stoves are allowed to be used.
Information:
The closest National Parkes information centre is at Govetts Leap, Blackheath. Some information is available at the Conservation Hut, Wentworth Falls and at Scenic World.
